Description
Bay Pointe Country Club was built in the late 60's
- and was known as Wareham Country Club until 1988.
The same year the Pavilion was constructed, and
the famous island green 7th hole was created.
Bay Pointe now possesses the unique collection
of 19 holes and two distinct clubhouses ~ The Golf
House and The Pavilion. Playing to a par-70, Bay
Pointe is rated 70.3 and sloped 118 from the back
tees. The overall yardage may appear comparatively
short on the card (6201 from Blue Tees), but it
plays substantially longer. Terrain is generally gentle,
apart from holes #1 and #2 which challenge golfers
beginning their round on the hilliest portion of
the grounds
